My Approach

I identify primarily as a narrative therapist, but I use techniques from Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy-- I am all about recognizing what we as humans are accountable for, what we can change, and how we can manage those things we cannot change.

Everyone's level of functioning is different, but everyone has control over something--even if it's those beliefs and stories we have about ourselves that can affect how we react to stressful situations. I meet my clients where they are, but I do push-- for truth, reason, self compassion, and understanding.
